Carrying important data around on a USB thumb drive is both convenient and risky. Losing that tiny device can mean big trouble if the wrong person comes across it. Reviewer Ron Harris looked at a handful of products meant to lock down the data within thumb drives. Two are hardware/software combinations sold as a package; one is a free and open source app that can be used with an existing drive.
